A photograph dated 15 December 1908 of the students and teacher of the 1908-1909 term at the one-room Klinger School, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The teacher for that term was John Hoffman and is probably the man standing at the rear (#43 in the numbered photo below).
Because of the discrepancy between the identifications of persons in the photo and the number of persons in each row, a number key is provided for readers to make corrections. It is not known why those seated, probably the front row, are listed last, or how the other rows were defined.
