A 1911 photograph of the grading of an area of the right of way of the Midland Pennsylvania Railroad, It appeared in the Harrisburg Telegraph, 16 March 1911 along with an article that promoted the coming of the Midland Pennsylvania Railroad, which was being built at the time. The photo caption stated that the grading was being done east of “Ellinger,” but probably meant Killinger, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, the railroad failed.
