DR. JOHN S. S. BOBB
Dr. John S. S. Bobb, age 48 years, who had been a dentist in Millersburg the past twenty-two years, died at his home there Sunday.
Dr. Bobb was a graduate of Susquehanna University, Selinsrove, and the Temple University Dental School, Philadelphia. He was a native of Red Cross, Northumberland County.
Dr. Bobb was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Lodge of Millersburg; the Masonic Lodge of Herndon, and the Harrisburg Consistory.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Marguerite Bobb; one son, Stephen Bobb, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Lynn Rowe of Millersburg, and Miss Carolyn Bobb, a student nurse at the Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia; and a brother, Dr. A. A. Bobb of Reading.
Services will be held from the Sterner Funeral Home, Millersburg, at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon, Dr. J. W. Emerick, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Millersburg, will officiate and interment will be in the Herndon Cemetery. Masonic services will be in charge of the Herndon Masonic Lodge.
