From 24 to 27 October 1968, the Colonnade Theatre in Millersburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, showed The Graduate (an academy award winner for best director, Mike Nichols). The film featured Anne Bancroft, Dustin Hoffman and Katharine Ross.
The leader for the film, as stated on the ad shown above from a local newspaper, stated the following:
The zany misadventures of a well-heeled young man who gets a thorough post-graduate education from a worldly woman.
Admission was $1.25 for adults and 75 cents for children, but the film was “suggested for mature audiences.” There were two showings – 7:00 and 9:00 p.m., including Sundays.
