An 1892 portrait of the Emanuel Dietrich family taken on the occasion of the 40th Wedding Anniversary of Emanuel Dietrich (1829-1895) and his second wife, Ellen Jane [Adams] Dietrich (1835-1929). The portrait shows all the living children of Emanuel as of 1892, including twin boys from his first marriage to Hannah Adams, the sister of Ellen. The family lived in Hegins, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, and later in Jefferson Township and Wayne Township, Dauphin County, and finally in Lykens Borough.
