JACOB E. BOYER
Jacob Elias Boyer, age 67 years, died at his home in Mifflin Township Friday.
Mr. Boyer was a son of Daniel Boyer and Elizabeth [Lark] Boyer. He was tax collector for Mifflin Township and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Berrysburg.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Boyer; one son, Elwood Boyer, at home; and two brothers, Daniel Boyer of Lykens R.D., and Joel Boyer, of Pillow.
Services were held in St. John’s Lutheran Church at 2:00 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. The pastor, Rev. L. P. Delp officiated, and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
