Edward D. Beadle, age 84 years, died at his home on Lykens last Wednesday.
Mr. Beadle was a son of the late Robert Beadle and Rachel [Davis] Beadle. He was a member of the Methodist Church and had been employed more than 60 years as a master mechanic by the Susquehanna Collieries Company.
Survivors are two daughters: Mrs. I. P. Donaldson, West Field, New Jersey; Mrs. James Knox, Philadelphia; four sons, Hector Beadle, of Dallas, Texas; Ray Beadle, Lykens; George Beadle and Homer Beadle, of Dearborn, Michigan. Other survivors are three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Miller, Miami, Florida; and Mrs. Florence Halpp, of Philadelphia.
Services were held from the residence Sunday afternoon Rev. W. S. Spiegelhalder, pastor of the Lykens Methodist Church affiliated and interment was made in the Wiconisco Cemetery.
