Some time after 1903, the Lykens Standard responded to a request to print a list of all mine-related fatalities at the Short Mountain Colliery, Lykens, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. That list was presented yesterday. The Lykens Standard list was reprinted, with some minor variations, in Barrett’s Lykens-Williams Valley History and Pictorial Review, published in 1922. The additions to the list, from 1904 to 1921, are re-printed here.
