LAY CORNERSTONE TO SCHOOL
Hegins, Pennsylvania, 7 March [1928] – Ceremonies for the laying of the cornerstone for the new Hegins Township High School Building were held this afternoon. Mr. Livingstone Seltzer, County Superintendent of Schools, of Pottsville, was the principal speaker, and members of the Valley View and Hegins School Boards participated. The new building is being built at a cost of $200,000, and is progressing nicely. It will accommodate the pupils of Hegins and Valley View and the Township, upon its completion. Students, for a number of years, have been using the temporary School building erected in the township.
