Francis G. Faust

Not much is known about this individual, Francis G. Faust, except that he was reported “Killed in Action” and his name and photograph appeared in the Lykens and Wiconisco Homecoming commemorative booklet.

To date, no newspaper articles have been found about his military service.

Francis G Faust( b 12/4/1919, D. 12/18/1944) served in the Company “d”, 2nd Tank Battalion in the 9th Armored Division, and was killed in Ardennes, Belgium, Buried in The German Catholic Cemetery in Lykens. Father is Frederick Adam Faust, mother: Ida Platzer Faust, address was 462 Main Street Lykens, PA
