FRANCIS HAIN PASSED AWAY MONDAY
Francis J. Hain, age 51 years, died at his home on West Broad Street, town [Elizabethville], Monday evening. He had been in ill health for some time.
Mr. Hain was a son of Andrew Hain and Hattie [Bohner] Hain and was a native of Pillow. He was a veteran of World War I, having served with the Army in France. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and of John Lloyd Post 404, American Legion, Elizabethville, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wiconisco.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Carrie [Stepp] Hain; two sons and one daughter, Charles Hain, Lykens; Robert Hain and Ruth Hain, Elizabethville; and three grandchildren.
Other survivors are three brothers, Floyd Hain, Dalmatia, R.D.; Mark Hain and Clarence Hain, Elizabethville; and five sisters, Mrs. James Wiest, Gratz; Mrs. Harry Jury, Millersburg; Mrs. Earl Matter and Mrs. Harry Sheesley, Dalmatia R.D., and Mrs. J. Kent Hassinger, Elizabethville.
