JACOB E. KISSINGER
Jacob E. Kissinger , aged 37 years, 5 months and 7 days, died at his home in Gratz, Monday evening after an illness of eight months with miner’s asthma. He had been a resident of the Gratz community his entire life.
Deceased was a son of Harvey Kissinger and Abbie [Miller] Kissinger, born March 18, 1898 in Lykens Township. He was married September 14, 1918 to Miss Agnes Koppenhaver, at Elizabethville. He was a member of Gratz Reformed Church and of the Williamstown Local, United Mine Workers of America.
Survivors are his father, his wife, one son, Raymond Kissinger. Three brothers and one sister: Ernest Kissinger and Charles Kissinger of Lykens Township; John Kissinger of Washington, D.C.; and Mrs. Homer Lebo of Lykens Township.
Funeral services will be held from the residence at two o’clock Friday afternoon with further services in the Reformed Church and interment made in the Gratz Cemetery. Rev. Dr. C. P. Wehr, pastor of the Lykens Valley Reformed Charge will officiate.
