- Kathryn [Dietrich] Gasbarro (1915-2003), Melva’s 1st cousin, 1 time removed, is standing holding her grandson Johnathon G. H. Gasbarro (1984-1989), who was Melva’s 1st cousin, 3 times removed. Kathryn’s mother, Helen [Hoffman] Dietrich (1895-1977) were first cousins on the Harrison Riegle (1840-1899) line of Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County.
- Standing at left, Annette H. K. Gasbarro, 1st cousin, 3 times removed to Melva.
- Kneeling, lower right, Jeffrey W. Gasbarro, 1st cousin, 3 times removed to Melva.
This is believed to be one the last photographs taken of Melva as she passed away at the Harrisburg Hospital on 10 April 1985.
