Fatally Injured When Hit By Car
Janet Liddick, age 4, a daughter of Mrs. Anna Frank of Matamoras, who was injured when struck by an automobile near her home on Tuesday, died in the Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg, about 11 o’clock that evening.
State Motor Police of the Lykens sub-station reported that the incident occurred about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when the girl was hit by a car, operated by Samuel A. Bordner, of Halifax R. D. The accident occurred on highway route 225.
The driver took the child to the office of Dr. M. A. Todd, Halifax, who ordered her removal to the hospital.
The girl, it was reported, sustained a fracture of the skull, and chest injuries.
