MOTHER OF LYKENS PUBLISHER, DIED TUESDAY
Mrs. Lottie Coles, age 63 years, of Lykens, senior partner of the Lykens Standard, died in the Harrisburg Hospital Thursday afternoon, following an illness of several months.
Mrs. Coles was a daughter of the later Mr. and Mrs. Uriah Minnich, and was a native of Lykens where she had resided most of her life. Her husband, Charles C. Coles, who was publisher of the Lykens Standard, preceded her in death in August, 1940.
Mrs. Coles is survived by one son, Mark Coles, junior partner of the firm, of Lykens; one brother, Clarence Minnich, of Lykens, and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral serviced were held in Christ Episcopal Church, Lykens, of which she was a member, at 10 o’clock Monday morning. The pastor, Rev. Guy F. Caruthers, officiated, and interment was made in the Wiconisco Cemetery.
