AVIATOR AT GRATZ FAIR FLIES NINE MILES IN SIX MINUTES

Lykens, Pennsylvania, September 19 [1913] — The aeroplane flights at the Gratz Fair were fairly successful, but the aviator was unable to ascend very high on account of the wind. The aeroplane was unloaded at Elizabethville, from which point it flew to Gratz in six minutes, a distance of nine miles.
