John Lewis and Paul Daniels of Wadesville, Pennsylvania, spent Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Carrie Smith and family.
Mrs. Phaen Rehrer, of Tremont, spent Friday with her mother, Mrs. Lizzie Blyler.
Mr. and Mrs. Austin Rothermel and daughter Marie Rothermel spent Sunday at the home of the former’s brother, Edwin Rothermel and family.
R. E. Blyler transacted business in New York this week.
Harry Maurer returned to his home at Steelton on Tuesday, after having spent a few weeks at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Schminky and family.
Miss Sula Witmer spent Tuesday at Valley View.
Miss Pauline Schoffstall, of Harrisburg, spent the week end at the home of her sister, Mrs. Joseph Ritzman and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schminky did some shopping at Harrisburg, Tuesday.
Miss Mary McNally, of Sunbury, spent the week end of last week with her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Kissinger and also friends of this place.
Miss Jennie Kissinger spent the week visiting among relatives in Sunbury.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Blyler and son Charles Blyler spent the week end among relatives in Valley View.
Clarence Portzline and family, of York, and Allen Fiddler, of Shamokin, were week end visitors at the Fiddlers’ home of this place.
Dr. and Mrs. C. J. Umholtz, of Elizabethville, spent the week end with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. M. Buffington.
Rev. and Mrs. R. L. McNally, of Sunbury, spent Monday at the home of the latter’s mother, Mrs. Mary Kissinger.
Harry Blyler, of Lykens, spent Monday with his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Blyler.
Mrs. William Laux, of Tremont spent Monday at the home of the Miller Brothers.
R. H. Witmer and family spent Sunday at the home of Mark Motter and family near Curtin.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Hassinger and son Warren Harringer spent Sunday with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hassinger, near Curtin.
Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Troxell and family spent Sunday at the home of their daughter, Mrs. William Reed and family at Rhumstown.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Henninger and son Billy Henninger, of Elizabethville spent Sunday at the home of Nevin Strayer and family.
