Photo Caption: Firemen pour water onto the burning boxcars following the collision of two Penn Central freight trains yesterday morning near Herndon, a community located south of Sunbury. Crash claimed the life of Emil L. Serhan, 45, of 117 W. Pettebone Street, Forty Fort, front brakeman on one of the freight trains involved, and also three other trainmen. Damages may run as high as $3 million.
