A photograph taken during the flood of 22 June 1927 at Millersburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania:
The Susquehanna River at Millersburg overflowed its banks, causing extensive damage to homes and business places located on the streets next to the river. People were evacuated from their homes by boats such as the one in the picture above. The river crested following all the high waters in the creek which emptied into it.
