Rev. JAcob Keim served as minister of Simeon Reformed Church, Gratz, Dauphin County, from 1865 to 1872.

Very little is known about Rev. Jacob Keim. During his time in the Lykens Valley he lived in the parsonage at Uniontown [Pillow], Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
His record of service at Gratz included 124 baptisms and teaching sixty candidates for confirmation. Also, on 9 September 1866, at the laying of the cornerstone for the present church building, he preached the sermon at St. David’s Reformed Church, Killinger.
In several post-Civil War pension records from the Lykens Valley area, Dr. Keim’s name appears as officiating at the applicant’s marriage.
