The Elizabethville Hometown Heroes Banner Program, Elizabethville, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, has published a book featuring a full page, color photograph of each of the banners that are hung about town honoring the men and women of the armed services who were from Elizabethville and Washington Township.
Banners are 2′ x 4′ and are currently displayed on utility poles on Main Street and adjacent streets. These banners were purchased by sponsors who will receive the banners at the end of a two year period ending in 2017. The banners sold for $150 each by the Elizabethville Area Bicentennial Committee.

The Elizabethville Hometown Hero Banner Program is dedicated to instilling pride and fostering a sense of community within the town of Elizabethville and the surrounding area.
We are proud to pay tribute to Veterans and those currently deployed who are serving our Country and have or had connections to our area. 2016-2017.
For each of the veterans, a photograph is provided as well as the name/s of the individuals or groups that sponsored the banner. Also included is the war(s) in which the veteran participated, the branch of service, and in some cases the actual military unit.
