A news brief from the Harrisburg Telegraph, August 13, 1927, indicated that “several bands and members of Klans from all parts of the State will be in the lineup” of a Ku Klux Klan parade to be held in Penbrook, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Did any bands and/or Klan members from the Lykens Valley area participate? Further research may or may not answer this question. By 1927, it could not have been more clear that anyone participating in any Klan event was supporting a domestic terrorist group and its racist ideas.
