HENRY LAUDENSLAGER – WAS MAYOR OF GRATZ
Henry Laudenslager, 66, mayor of Gratz, died Sunday in Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lebanon.
Mr. Laudenslager was a member of Gratz Borough Council and then in the last municipal election, he became mayor.
He was an Army veteran, having served from 1943-1945.
He was a member of Simeon’s Lutheran Church, Historical society and senior Citizens, all of Gratz, and was active with Gratz Fair Association.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Laudenslager; two sons, Roger L. Laudenslager, of Sunbury, and Larry L. Laudenslager, Gratz; two daughters, Carol Koletar, of Reno, Nevada, and Rochelle Laudenslager, Gratz; four grandchildren; six brothers…; four sisters….
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Simeon’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dr. William Walton will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Gratz. The calling hours will take place at the family residence. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge of arrangements.
