Dr. J. Nevin Baker
Born in Lewistown, Mr. Baker came to Lykens in 1893, entering the practice of his profession, dentistry. He is a graduate of the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Dr. Baker has served the borough as school director for a number of years, and has always taken a keen interest in all civic enterprises. He is at present President of the Miners Deposit Bank, of which he has been a director a number of years; President of the Building and Loan Association, and one of the organizers of the Williams Valley Bank at Williamstown. He is one of the highly respected citizens of the borough, and known to practically everybody in the valley.
