ASCENSION RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH GETS NEW PASTOR
The Rev. Michael Kapral, a native of New York and resident of Czechoslovakia for several years, has been appointed to the pastorate of the Holy Ascension Russian Orthodox Church in Lykens. This is his second parish.
Rev. Kapral was graduated from high school and attended Theological Seminary at Vladimerov, Czechoslovakia and was graduated from St. Tikhan’s Pastor’s School at South Canaan, Pennsylvania.
Rev. Kapral came to the Lykens Parish from the Holy Trinity Church of Lynn, Massachusetts, which was his first parish.
