A 1940 photograph of the students and teacher of the Pine Grove Township Schools, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. According to the caption, the photo was shown at a reunion of the classes of 1940-1945 of the Pine Grove Township High School. According to Mrs. Esther Kocher, who owned the photo, many of the students who graduated in those years were pictured in the 1940 photo.
This photo was published in the “Down Memory Lane” feature of the Pine Grove Press Herald, November 7, 1974. Unfortunately, none of the names of those in the photo were published.
