An undated photograph of the brick home on what was the 103 acre farm of Henry B. Williard, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania in 1875.
The home was probably constructed in the mid 1870s by Henry B. Williard who was one of a few brick makers in Lykens Township.
The 1875 farm of Henry B. Williard was part of a larger tract of land patented to John Duncan in 1785.
Henry B. Williard is also found in the records as Henry B. Willier.
The Henry B. Williard farm of 103 acres is designated as “Res. H. H. Willierd” on the 1875 map cut shown above. The farm was located in the northwest quadrant of Lykens Township.
More modern farm buildings on this property are shown in the photo above. Dates of their construction are unknown.
