Undated portraits, taken about the same time, of Elias Thomas, born 1835, son of Samuel Thomas (1811-1874) and Hannah [Hoffman] Thomas (1815-1887), who lived in Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and his wife Sarah [Rough] Thomas (1835-1924). Elias died in 1919 and Sarah died in 1924. Both are buried in Gratz Union Cemetery, Gratz, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
