The Report of the Superintendent of Public Instruction of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, June 7, 1896, stated that the school was a two story frame building, containing two primary rooms on the first floor, and the high school room, a recitation room and a library on the second floor. All the rooms were supplied with patent furniture and slate-boards. In addition, the building had “suitable means of ventilation.”
