Identified in the photograph, left to right, are:
Lucy [Sitlinger] Troutman, who became Clerk of the Loyalton Post Office, after her mother retired.
Jennie [MIller] Snyder (1874-1953), who operated the general store with her husband, Harvey H. Snyder, who preceded Melva Sitlinger as the postmaster of Loyalton; Harvey died in 1948.
Melva Sitlinger, Postmaster of Loyalton at the time the photograph was taken. Melva was the last person to hold the title and position of Postmaster of Loyalton, and was followed by her daughter Lucy who served Loyalton as a clerk operating out of the Lykens Post Office.

Norm, The photo with the three ladies was about 1962 and I’m 98% sure I took it. I would have been too young to take the photo in 1952 The lady in the middle is my grandmother Amy Snyder Bechtel the owner of the store. Amy was Jennie Snyders daughter. The store closed in September of 1969.
