Funeral Held Sunday for Jacob C. Lebo
Jacob C. Lebo, age 84 years, a retired farmer, died at his home in Upper Paxton Township, last Thursday morning [4 September 1941]. Mr. Lebo, who had retired from farming about ten years ago, had been in failing health for several years.
He was a son of the late Daniel Lebo and Jemima [Cooper] Lebo, and was born 28 March 1857 in the same room of the house in which he died. He was a member of St. David’s Reformed Church, Killinger.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mary Alice Lebo; one daughter, Mrs. John Engle, of Millersburg R. D.; two sons, Charles E. Lebo and Samuel E. Lebo, both of Millersburg R. D. 1; and a foster daughter, Mrs. Howard Troutman, of Millersburg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the residence at 10 o’clock Sunday morning, with further services in the Killinger Reformed Church. The pastor, Rev. Stanley Baker officiated and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
