JACOB W. BRIGHTBILL
Jacob W. Brightbill, age 60 years, Millersburg merchant, died at his home at that place 29 October 1947. Mr. Brightbill became ill while attending a meeting in Hebron Evangelical United Brethren Church last Tuesday evening. He was a member and president of the Board of Trustees of that congregation.
Mr. Brightbill was a son of Gideon Brightbill and Lizzie [Wolfe] Brightbill and was a native of Lebanon County.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sadie L. Brightbill, Millersburg; one son, Earl G. Brightbill, Millersburg; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Walborn, Bloomsburg; his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Brightbill, of Millersburg; a brother, Arthur Brightbill, of Hummelstown; and three grand-daughters.
Services were held in Hebron Evangelical United Brethren Church, Millersburg, at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon, with the pastor, Rev. S. T. Dundore officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
