A photo essay of the return of Walter Evitts (1884-1865) and Mabel [Riegle] Evitts (1883-1964) to their homesteads in Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The photographs were taken in late summer or early fall of 1962, although one of them is dated February 1963.
Top photo, William Dietrich (1896-1977) and Helen [Hoffman] Dietrich (1895-1977) at their flower garden on the Riegle-Dietrich homestead. The garden was located in the triangle where Old Specktown Road and New Specktown Road met at the old Evitts homestead.
