Aaron Webner, farmer, Washington Township, was born in Washington Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, 2 October 1853, the son of George Webner and Hannah [Longabach] Webner. He attended the common schools of his native township during the winter months and worked on the home farm in the summers, and remained at home till his marriage, which occurred in Washington Township, 2 December 1876, when he was united to Miss Mary Jane Sulzbach, daughter of Joseph Sulzbach and Hannah [Landis] Sulzbach. His father, having returned to Elizabethville, he located on the old homestead, and has since bought the place, which consists of fifty acres with good buildings and other improvements. His children are:
Hannah Nora Webner, born 2 September 1877, at home;
George Joseph Webner, born 28 December 1879;
Annie M. Webner, born 5 October 1883, at home;
Edward Allen Webner, born 2 July 1887.
Mr. Aaron Webner is a Democrat in his political views. He is a member of the Lutheran church, and has served as elder, deacon and trustee for some years.
