A 1966 news brief told of a recreational flight from Tower City to a family visit in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware:
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Ulsh, Orwin; Leroy Kolva, Williamstown; and Quay Cooper, Tower City flew to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Sunday, where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Philip Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ulsh, who operate Betty’s Bake Shop there.
The group used the plane owned by Kolva, Ulsh piloting the plane from the Bendigo-Kessler Airport in Clarks Valley, and Kolva piloting the plane back.

Note: The airport near Tower City was previously called Kessler Airport, but for a time was called Bendigo-Kessler Airport. Soon afterward, the name was changed to Bendigo Airport.
