An undated studio portrait photograph said to be of Amos Snyder, with no other identification, including of place taken. The photograph was found in a collection of a Lykens Valley family. One suggestion, unconfirmed, it that this individual was a Civil War veteran.
Note: There is no Amos Snyder in the 3000+ names of the Veterans’ List of the Civil War Research Project. It is possible though that the name is incorrect and this photograph is of another veteran with ties to the Lykens Valley area.
