A 1952 advertisement for Myron L. Sausser, Sausser Monument Works, 400 Hoffman Boulevard, Ashland, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
Sausser included a message in his ad:
Only a Few People In Town Will Act On This Reminder but they will be the lucky ones; for disturbing and difficult problem will be out of the way.
Who of us today would be without insurance? Who today would neglect to make out a will? These are just the ordinary steps we all take in advance of need.
Why is it then that we postpone choosing the family burial estate, selecting the family monument, when it must be done eventually?
Why not choose it when the entire familyu can help – thoughtfully calmly — and together, when the purchase can be judged wisely, so that all can have the saatisfaction of knowing that additional strain will not be placed upon the shoulders of loved ones at the very time they are least able to cope with it.
