An undated post card version of a C. Noll photograph of the railroad line north of Millersburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, as the tracks curve around the end of the Mahantongo Mountain. The small building left of center in the picture is the Liverpool Railroad Station. The Susquehanna River is to the left of the frame. This photograph, in black and white and colorized form, was used on picture post cards representing Millersburg and area.

My great grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Lower piloted the Liverpool Ferry until it was shut down in 1922. The steam engine on the Liverpool Ferry exploded on one trip across the river and grandpa Ben told of coming to 1/4 mile down river. My grandmother, Esther Irene Lower Miller who was born in 1902 told of having lived in that house.
