Commodore Hal, a bay gelding owned by Clifford R. Bressler, Pine Grove R. D. 1, won the fourth race in the 19th classs pace, at Rosecraft Raceway, Oxon Hill, Maryland, on June 11 [1951].
The 6-year-old did the one mile in 2:31 3/5. It was the first race won this season. The driver was J. Amato.
Becoming very popular, the animal raced at Laurel, Maryland, will be seen on many eastern circuits during the remainder of the season.
