Calder A. Enders, 60, of 578 Market Street, died last Thursday at the Harrisburg Hospital. In ill health since 17 March [1950], when he collapsed in his automobile, near Elizabethville, enroute home from Lykens where he was employed by the P. P. & L. Co., Mr. Enders was stricken again 21 November [1950], and was admitted to the hospital the 22nd, his death occurring the following day.
A resident of Millersburg 41 years, he was the son of the late Edward Enders and Alice [Brightbill] Enders, Halifax R.D., where he was born. Mr. Enders was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Modern Woodmen of America.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Carrie [Tyson] Enders; two daughter, Mrs. Margaret Snyder and Mrs. Geza Kish, of this place; a son, Robert D. Enders, Carlisle R. D. 6; a sister, Mrs. Albert Brown, Lemoyne; a brother, Harry Enders, Dundalk, Maryland, and four grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m., from the Riegle Funeral Home, 512 Market Street, the Rev. James W. Emerick officiating. Interment was made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
