HALIFAX SAILOR DIED THURSDAY
Seaman Third Class Charles J. Musser, of Halifax R. D. 1, died in the National Naval Hospital, Washington, D. C., last Thursday. He had been a patient three months.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pauline B. Musser; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Musser, of Halifax; three sisters, Mrs. George Koppenhaver, Halifax; Miss Pauline Musser, at home; and Mrs. Eugene Wilhelm of Millersburg.
Funeral services were held from the Riegel Funeral Home, Millersburg at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. G. W. Moyer, pastor of the Halifax Reformed Charge, and Rev. Paul Sowdy of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Millersburg, officiated, and interment was made in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Millersburg. Members of the Millersburg American Legion Post conducted brief services at the cemetery.
