Charles S. Ruff, 64, well known Buffalo Flyer engineer of Sunbury, collapsed and died of a heart attack early Sunday morning at the Sunbury Greyhound bus terminal while he was awaiting a bus to go to Harrisburg to report for work as engineer for train No. 571, which runs daily between Harrisburg and Renovo.
Mr. Ruff had been fireman for J. Earl Day, retired Pennsy Buffalo Flyer engineer of Millersburg, for a number of years before he was advanced to engineer.
Mr. Ruff, prominent in Masonic circles, is survived by his widow, three sisters and two brothers.
Services were held Wednesday morning and interment made in Glenwood Mausoleum, Scranton.
