Dr. Claude J. B. Flowers, former Harrisburg physician, died at Louisville, Kentucky on Friday.
Dr. Flowers had practiced medicine in Harrisburg, Penbrook, Union Deposit and Elizabethville.
He entered the Army Medical Corps in 1940 and served for six years with the rank of Captain. He was later assigned to the Veterans’ Bureau.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Augusta Rose Flowers; one daughter, Mrs. Rose Mark, of Arlington, Virginia; two sons, Robert Flowers, Washington; and Claude J. B. Flowers Jr. of Los Angeles, California. Two grandchildren, a sister and one brother also survive.
Services were held in the Fort Meyer, Virginia chapel, Monday, and interment was made in Arlington Cemetery.
