An advertisement appearing in the Elizabethville Echo, Elizabethville, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, 7 March 1895:
CON. KEILMAN’S MEAT MARKET
NEW DEPARTURE
I desire to announce to my patrons and the public at large, that hereafter I will conduct my business on a strictly cash bass. Under no circumstances will I sell on credit, and the losses I have hitherto sustained on bad book accounts will be the measure by which I will be enabled to sell cheaper in the future.
Trusting that the public will see the benefit to be derived from the new order of things and that they will give me their further liberal patronage.
I am Yours Respectfully,
CON. KEILMAN,
Elizabethville, Pennsylvania
