A photograph of old and new fire department equipment of the Reliance Hose Company No. 1, Elizabethville, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, at its headquarters building in 1967 at 20 South Market Street.
The three pieces of equipment are:
1. Fire Truck purchased in October 1934. A Studebaker chassis fitted with Buffalo apparatus.
2. Ambulance purchased September 1966. A Cadillac with a body by Miller & Metor Company of Ohio. Equipped with a portable resuscitator and a permanently mounted large oxygen tank.
3. Fire Truck purchase in 1964. A Hahn triple combination truck equipped with 750 gallon pumper, 750 gallon booster tank, and a hose bed for 1000 feet of hose.
