ELIZABETHVILLE STORE ROBBED: LOSS $300.
Burglars Sunday night entered the store of Goldman and Spessler at Elizabethville, and carried away about 150 shirts, lot of neckties, leather suit cases, hand bags and other wearing apparel amounting to more than $300. The robbery was committed between midnight and two o’clock in the morning.
Monday morning when Mr. Goldman entered the store he found various articles strewn about the floor, and upon examination found thieves had entered the store thru the basement window on the east side of the building. About 1:30 Monday morning a man going to Elizabethville, passed a touring car and truck moving toward this section [Lykens] from Elizabethville.
The robbery was reported to the State Police substation at this place and investigations are being conducted altho no definite clues have been traced to this time.
