FORMER RAILROAD EMPLOYEE DIED AT GRATZ
George B. Garber, age 70 years, died at his home in Gratz on Monday [17 March 1941].
Mr. Garber was a son of the late George W. Garber and Sarah A. [Geise] Garber, and was a native of Pottsville. He had been an employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company nearly forty-five years, and was a former resident of Hollidaysburg. He was a member of the Evangelical Church and had been a resident of Gratz the past four years.
Survivors are three brothers, Harvey Garber, of Progress, Charles Garber of Gratz, and Joseph Garber of Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held from the residence at 10 o’clock this Thursday morning. Rev. H. A. Minnich, pastor of the Gratz Evangelical Congregational Church will officiate and interment will be in the Gratz Cemetery.
