Portraits of George Williard (1819-1885) and Lovina [Deibler] Williard (1822-1888) of Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
In 1885, the Williard’s owned a large farm of 115 acres at the intersection of the Crossroads and Dairy Road in the southwest corner of Lykens Township, not far from the St. Peter (Hoffman) Church. They had obtained the farm in 1849, but the deed was not recorded until 1854. In 1886, George Williard sold the farm to his son-in-law, Daniel Bush Troutman, wife of his daughter Sarah Williard.
George Williard and his wife are buried at the St. Peter (Hoffman) Church Cemetery.
