A 2010 photograph of the section of the Gratz History Mural featuring one of the oldest houses in Gratz, said to be built about 1820 and once owned by John Coleman, a mason and weaver. Later this was the home of five Gratz doctors and members of the Schoffstall family.
On May 30, 2005, a 75-foot wall mural entitled “A Walk Through History” was dedicated in the Community Building in Gratz, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, commemorating 200 years of Gratz history and recognizing the people from the past and present who together have made Gratz “a place to call home.” A small portion of the mural is pictured above.
