An undated photograph of the pipe organ at the Simeon Lutheran and Reformed Church, Gratz, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, which was dedicated on 21 April 1907 at morning, noon and evening services in which about 1000 people attended. The total cost was $1500, half of which was paid by the church and half of which was paid by Andrew Carnegie.
About 1900, Andrew Carnegie offered matching funds to any church congregation wanting to purchase a pipe organ for their sanctuary. The Union Church applied for the funds and received them.
